Cookies are small files a website places on your device. We also use localStorage and sessionStorage: technically different, but with the same effect and the same rules, so we treat them equally here.
Necessary cookies are allowed without consent. Anything related to analytics or marketing is only placed after you choose to allow it.

These are required to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice. The site cannot function without them, so they cannot be switched off.

The chat widget loads so you can ask us a question directly. It does not recognise you between visits and does not track you across other websites. If you start a conversation, we store that conversation so we can display and answer it.

Even if you refuse everything, we count per day how often a page was viewed, along with the referring domain, the country and the type of device. Nothing is stored on or read from your device, and we keep no IP address and no session identifier.
That count therefore cannot be traced back to you and falls outside the cookie rules. We do it because otherwise we would only see the visitors who gave consent, which gives a distorted picture of how the site is used.

‘Cookie settings’ is at the bottom of every page. There you can switch categories on or off, also after you previously agreed. Withdrawing is just as easy as consenting.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, the site may not work fully.
